Easter Hours

RiverWinds will have regular hours on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, and the facility will close on Sunday. Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday. April 25th. Enjoy your holiday!

Host Your Childs' Next Birthday Party at RiverWinds!

Planning a birthday party? RiverWinds is the place!


Celebrate your child's birthday or special event with a RiverWinds party and create memories that last a lifetime! Choose between two separate packages: utilize our wonderful water playground and aquatic center or choose the challenge of climbing our 2-story rock wall which includes sports activities in our gymnasium. Our 2- hour party packages includes everything. We even set up and clean up...no hassle to you!


Our party rooms offer easy access to the leisure pool, the 28’ rock climbing wall and the gymnasiums, making them a convenient meeting place for any type of party. Accommodating up to 16 children, the party rooms are designed your party needs.


Our enthusiastic party leaders, included in your package, will guide the party, leading the activity and assisting in serving pizza, drinks, and cake. Parents are required to assist in supervising the children.


Please note that alcohol is not permitted during Birthday Parties.

Check-In Policy:
Guests meet in the RiverWinds Atrium for party check-in with the party leader. It is suggested that you invite your guests to come fifteen minutes prior to party time. Once all the guests arrive, the party leader will escort the group back to the party room.


Cancellation Policy:
In the unfortunate event you need to cancel your party, written notice of your cancellation must be received 30 days prior to party date for the return of the $80.00 room rental fee deposit. (Unfortunately, e-mails are not an acceptable form of communication for cancellation.)


Other Information:
**All guests are required to abide by facility Rules and Regulations, provided in reservation information packages.
**We have a beautiful Community Room for parties accommodating more than 16 children. Please contact Fran DiCarlantonio, Program Coordinator, at (856)251-0990 x108.
**Please note party activities are not private. Our pool and sports areas are open to members during party times and may coincide with other special events.

INTERESTED IN A POOL PARTY? Come play in the leisure pool! Swim, use the current channel, play in the waterworks, and slide. Children should arrive with their swim suits on underneath their clothing and bring a small bag with a towel and a change of clothes which will be securely stored in the party room. 



An adult/child ratio of 1 adult to every 4 children is required while in the pool area. Adults should bring their swimsuits to assist with the water supervision of partygoers who have various swimming abilities.


The two-story waterslide is available for use for all children 48 inches or taller. This is a non-negotiable manufacturer's stipulation which must be strictly enforced.


For Ages 4 and Up


The following is a list of Rules and Regulations for the RiverWinds Community Center Aquatics Facility. Please note that this list is not necessarily comprehensive, and ultimate discretion is under the supervision of the lifeguards and Manager on Duty: •No Running•Must be 48” Tall to Ride Waterslide•One at a time in Vortex (or One Parent and One Child)•Hot Tub and Steam Room Use is Only for Those 18 and Over•No Diving•Party Guests are to Stay Out of Lap Lanes•Obey Lifeguards •If Leisure Pool is Unavailable for Maintenance Purposes, the Lap Pool will be Utilized (See Emergency Maintenance Procedures below)

Lightning Procedures: In the event that lightning is visible from the Community Center, the Aquatic Facility will be closed until 20 minutes has passed since the last bolt of lightning flashed. The decision to temporarily close the Aquatic Facility will come from either the Manager on Duty or Head Lifeguard, who will inform lifeguards to clear the pools. The party may remain in the pool area until notified they may return to the water. In rare instances, the pools will close indefinetely. When this occurs, parties will move to the Gym and Rock Wall.


Emergency Maintenance Procedures: In the event that unforseeable Maintenance issues arise within the duration of a Pool Party, all patrons will be required to move to the Lap Pool until chemical treatments have been adequately dealt with and the Leisure Pool is considered safe to return. The decision to temporarily close a singular pool will come from either the Manager on Duty or Head Lifeguard, who will inform lifeguards to clear the designated pool. Parties may be moved to a different pool, delayed, or moved to the gymnasiums.


INTERESTED IN A SPORTS PARTY? Climb our 30’ rock wall and show your skills at soft puck hockey, basketball, or volleyball. Children must wear sneakers and have a rock climbing waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.


For Ages 6 and Up


The following is a list of Rules and Regulations, including Dress Code, designed for the RiverWinds Community Center Gymnasiums and Rock Wall. Please note that this list is not necessarily comprehensive, and ultimate discretion is under the supervision of Gym Attendants and the Manager on Duty: •No food or open beverages containers allowed. (Beverage containers must be plastic only and have a secure lid, and are not permitted into gym.)•No foul language•No spitting•Courts with lowered nets are designated for children 12 and under•Children 12 and under must be supervised at all times•The Community Center staff is not responsible for lost or stolen items.•The Community Center staff reserves the right to resolve all conflicts during play on the gym floor•All equipment is to be used in the proper way•No kicking or sitting on volleyballs or basketballs•Equipment is to be returned to the proper place following use•Hanging on basketball rims is prohibited•No hanging on the volleyball nets•Any inappropriate use or abuse of the Center or equipment may result in termination of privileges.•Good sportsmanship is expected for all activities. The Community Center reserves the right to eject anyone not following the rules. Towels are suggested to wipe off excess sweat which can accumulate on the floor and cause slipping•Sneakers are required: non-marking, rubber shoes must be worn at all times•Shorts, sweat pants, or warm-ups must be worn (no swim suits or jeans permitted)

Senior Day

SENIOR DAY returns on Wednesday, May 25th, from 9:00 a.m. - noon. Residents 55+ are welcome to enjoy this free event, featuring vendors, raffles, food, and entertainment!

Youth Programs

Parents’ Night Out Parents, you deserve a night out! RiverWinds is offering a program for our members. Do not look any longer for that special sitter for your child. The third Friday of every month, RiverWinds will offer a sitting service. A 48-hour notice is required. The children and a child care provider will participate in activities, games, or a night of movies. We will provide a snack and entertainment. 4/15 and 5/13 for those children 3-11 years of age.

Mother's Day Craft Kids of all ages are welcome to join us for some secret crafting! Make Mom a special gift with your own two hands on Wednesday, May 4th, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Decoupage Eggs Youth 7-12 can learn the art of decorative eggs! Hollow it out and make it your own family heirloom. Tuesday, April 12th, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Fun Time Toddlers 3-5 can explore through mime, song, and movement to develop self-expression and confidence. Parents are welcome to stay and play! Wednesdays, April 6th thru May 11th from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Arts and Craft Classes

PICK-A-PIECE OF CERAMIC BISQUE WARE: Come try your hand at ceramics! Enjoy painting and trying different glaze techniques. There will be assorted pieces; bowls, plates and vases, etc. Then the piece will be fired for your own use or as a gift. Products are strictly non-toxic. All supplies included. One 2-hour class. • Ages: 16+ / 12-15 with adult. Thursday, May 12, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

COLLAGES "ALL MIXED UP:" Learn watercolor technique in this series of six two-hour art classes. Mixed media including textiles and textures will be used. No prior paint/drawing experience necessary. • Ages: 16+ / 12-15 with adult. Tuesday, April 5th thru Tuesday, May 10th, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

INTRO TO JEWELRY MAKING: Learn the basics to produce your own unique designs using beads and stones. One 2-hour class. • Ages: 16+ / 12-15 with adult. Monday, April 25th, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
