We've been blessed with a mild winter for the most part...but we're still psyched to see those bulbs peeking thru the earth and the mercury rise little by little. As February winds down, we see Spring on the horizon and with it some amazing activities and programs at RiverWinds.
On Thursday, February 23rd, the perennial favorite kids activity Duck Races returns to the Leisure Pool. The races begin in the Current Channel at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Bring your duck or we'll supply you with one. Prizes for the fastest, and FREE to all pass holders!
Our 10 Year Celebration will be on Friday, March 2nd, with activities during both the morning and evening. Don't miss out on the fun and the freebies!
A pottery workshop will be held on the evening of March 12th. Did you know we have one of the only kiln's available in the area for firing? And that non-residents are welcome to join, too? Take advantage of this outstanding opportunity.
We hosted two Discover SCUBA classes over the holiday weekend and they had an amazing turn-out. And why wouldn't they: the price is second to none, and the experience is even better. Only $30 to try the equipment in our secure in-water environment under the careful guidance of PADI certified instructors. The next one will be on March 15th at 6:30 p.m., so sign up today!
